HOW TO DRAW A FLOWER EASILY WITH A BRUSH PEN.

Image 1: Simple flower design with the aid of a brush pen. |
Supplies Used
- 1). A brush pen (any brush pen will work – just make sure it’s a pen with a flexible tip that reacts when you add pressure to it).
- 2). Paper.
- 3). Pencil (this is optional but helpful).
With your pencil, draw a small circle – about the size of a pencil eraser.
Step 2: Push down with your brush pen at the edge of the circle
With your brush pen, put the tip anywhere along the line of the circle and push down. It should look like a flower petal once you lift your brush pen.
The amount of pressure you apply to your brush pen will impact the size of the petal. Try to keep them consistent.
Step 3: Rotate the page, making petals as you go.
Continue to make petals, and turn your page as you go. Go along the whole circle until it’s full of petals.
Feel free to experiment with not rotating your paper if you prefer to adjust your pen instead of the paper. I typically prefer the final result better if I rotate the paper as I can control the pen a bit more that way, but feel free to try out both methods.
Step 4: Fill in the centre with dots.
You can use the same colour or a different colour to add some dots in the centre of your flower. The dots make your flower a bit more interesting. I just used the fine tip end of the brush pen to make my dots, but you can use whatever pen you have available.
